Someone once said, “Not to decide is a decision”. I am totally opposed to yet another scar on the face of our Mother Earth to enrich the pockets of a few mining corporate execs and owners. I enjoy the drive out to Patagonia and the State Park, and also occasionally the scenic drive down Box Canyon Road(or FR62) on my way to Madera Canyon. The scenic part will be long gone once the mining starts, big trucks roll, and the ore crusher machinery is running full tilt. I really don’t want to see yet another Sierrita type Mine or another Mission Mine eyesore. I don’t give a rip how many permits the corporations and their minions are waving at the public to garner advocates. Southern Arizona does not need another mine on the southern edge of Tucson. The benefits are temporary until the ore plays out, the hole in the ground is a permanent and perpetual eyesore. ENOUGH is enough!!!
